A recent internal promotion within the finance department of this Bradford based organisation has created a new role for an Accounts Assistant to join their accounts team.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, this busy and varied role will give full exposure to the day to day running of an accounts department and will provide relevant experience for candidates studying towards their AAT, or Finance Graduates keen to start getting real life accounts experience. Duties will include processing purchase invoices, allocating payments to the sales ledger, some credit control work and dealing with accounting related queries.
In order to be considered for this role candidates will be expected to:
Be studying towards their AAT exams or a Finance & Accountancy degree
Have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
A basic understanding of the workings of an accounts department
This is a full time permanent position with working hours of Monday - Friday, 9-5pm.The position comes with 20 days holidays, aswell as a company pension scheme
