We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated person with good interpersonal skills to join our Nutrition and Dietetic Team.
Your main duties will include supporting the dietetic team in the assessment and treatment of adult patients. You will specifically assist on the complex care wards with the delivery of high quality nutritional care by helping to identify and monitor patients at risk of malnutrition and encouraging them with their oral intake e.g. using snacks, nutritional supplements and special diets where necessary. You will also be required to liaise with both ward staff and the Catering Department.
The Team consists of 21 Dietitians, Assistant Practitioner, Dietetic Technician and two Dietetic Assistants providing an acute and community dietetic service in East Suffolk. We are also supported by secretarial and administrative staff.
