My client is looking to recruit a Property Management Assistant to join one of their teams to provide assistance to a Senior Property Manager. This client focused role will involve working in a busy team co-ordinating repairs, maintenance and project work on residential property developments across the West of Scotland.
Based from a professional office environment your key duties will include:
Responding to calls, emails and letters from property owners/clients
Liaising with contractors to arrange maintenance works
Updating clients via phone, email and letter
Dealing with phone queries on accounts and charges
Managing insurance claims on behalf of owners
Dealing with any complaints and issues in a professional manner
Sourcing new contractors for repairs
Building strong working relationships with clients, residents groups and colleagues
This is a varied and enjoyable role within a successful company which will offer you opportunities to gain experience and progress to a Property Managers role in the future.
To be considered candidates should have 1-2 years office based experience in a professional environment, friendly & articulate telephone skills and the ability to work in a busy team. You should also be able to communicate effectively via written correspondence with good grammar and spelling. It is essential that you are able to confidently deal with clients on the phone and have strong problem solving and organisational skills.
