An exciting opportunity for a Web Developer to work for a globally renowned organisation based in Essex.

We are looking for an experienced developer to work on the customer facing website. The role involves designing and delivering IT solutions.

To apply for this position, you must have proven experience of developing software applications in an enterprise environment. You must also have an in depth knowledge of modern software development methodologies (scrum, agile, RUP).

Must have experience:
JavaScript and JavaScript libraries (MooTools and JQuery, Dojo, Prototype)
AJAX (HIJAX)
HMTL4 and HTML5 including XHTML
CSS
Programming for cross-browser compatibility
Adobe Photoshop or other similar image processing package
Flash, Actionscript and integration with HMTL
Java development environment
Accessibility to at least AA level. e.g. ARIA implementation
XSLT
Implementing Progressive Enhancement for UI elements
Implementing websites to be used on both desktop and touch devices
Webpage analytics and metrics tagging e.g. Omniture, Google Analytics
XML
SQL
J2EE
Development and Integration with a Content Management System (CMS) e.g. FatWire
Knowledge and experience of implementing website accessibility requirements
Micro-data knowledge for SEO

Technical Skills (Nice to Have):
Mobile website development experience
FatWire Content Management System experience
Agile methodology experience
