Salary £16,000 to £22,000 depending on experience
Formed in 1997, our client is at the forefront of city living in Leeds. The company specialises in selling and renting apartments in the city centre and provides advice to the leading developers in the sector.
They now have an exciting opportunity in the property management team at their award winning offices by the river in Leeds City Centre.
As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for providing landlords and tenants with an exceptional level of customer service, through honest and clear communication. You will work to fixed timescales to ensure that properties are ready for occupation prior to the start of the tenancy, conducting a 'walk through' of the apartment and accurately recording the condition and cleanliness. You will manage incoming calls and emails from current tenants, using your practical and commonsense approach to qualify the issue and set clear expectations regarding any necessary maintenance works. You will liaise regularly with their contractors and using their in house software, you will book appointments, maintain updates on ongoing works and negotiate quotes.
Central to your success will be your strong diary and workload management skills, coupled with excellent recall and natural proactivity. You will have a proven track record of achieving results and providing best value for your clients.
They are looking for candidates with the commitment to deliver the highest level of customer service at all times. With the ability to quickly build a rapport with a wide range of people, you will be an excellent negotiator and thrive on working towards targets. A friendly telephone manner is essential for this role coupled with a broad knowledge of PC software.
Knowledge of building, construction and/or property experience is a benefit but not essential but you must be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver as set out above.
