Product Availability Analyst. Job Description Sensing and Controls is a strategic business unit of a global learder in technology and manufacturing. S&C is one of the world's leading suppliers of sensors, switches, machine safeguarding and other devices for a variety of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) applications in the automotive, aviation, medical, information technology, consumer appliance and industrial businesses. We seek a Product Availability Analyst to drive exceptional performance for S&C’s Inter-company and Source-to-Sell Planning process for the EMEA region.
Reporting to the EMEA Product Availability Manager, the Product Availability Analyst is responsible for achieving a superior OTTR and OTTP for inter-company finished goods and source-to-sell products through: setting effective inventory management strategies, actively managing planning parameters for intercompany goods sold into EMEA, and identifying opportunities to improve the existing flow of goods to better service EMEA customers. Principal Accountabilities: - Manage inter-company and source-to-sell planning for Finished Goods products. - Accountable for inter-company and source-to-sell delivery OTTR to customers. - Analyze and maintain optimal finished goods inventory levels, including customer-specific inventory programs or agreements.
- Analyze and maintain stated customer lead times (service levels) based on market trends, competitor lead times, and historical customer lead time requests - Partner with factory leaders and planners to identify and reconcile gaps and supply shortages, providing an early warning system for issues identification. - Identify and develop process improvements with the integrated supply chain by continuously improving techniques, methods and approaches to inventory planning. Qualifications - degree preferred - prior experience in a Supply Chain Analyst role - Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint; Access database experience preferred. - Strong communication and relationship-building skills - ERP experience required - Experience working with reporting warehouses (i.e, Business Objects, Business Warehouse, etc)
