My client is Europe’s leading manufacturer of mozzarella. They provide custom cheese making solutions to companies in over 20 countries around the world. They have developed an innovative cheese manufacturing process focused on consumer needs and have access to a global network of experts within their parent companies to help deliver customer solutions. They produce, market and sell Mozzarella cheeses to: Pizza chains, frozen and chilled food manufacturers, foodservice distributors, retail deli-pizza providers and retail food service shredders.
They are now in the process of recruiting a Senior Marketing Manager to develop the full marketing mix of products and services to support and drive long term profitable growth. The successful individual will be responsible for leading the marketing programmes to support the sales team with marketing efforts, including partnering in the development of customer specific proposals and presentations.
This is a customer facing role that will involve but not be limited to: Developing pizza category presentations, Monitoring and interpreting trends within QSR, Creating Limited time offers for Retailers, and presenting these to key customers. You will also be responsible for developing, in partnership with the NPD team new culinary innovations to add value to customer relationships and manage the consumer taste panels to test new product concepts for key customers. There will also be a requirement to research market specific projects, clients and competitors and leverage and adapt marketing programmes from Leprino (a parent company) to drive forward the company’s sales.
In order to be considered for this role you will possess a Marketing degree with a good commercial understanding of business. You will have at least 4 years’ experience of working specifically within marketing within FMCG, specifically the food industry, ideally with European experience.
You will be self-motivated and be adaptable to both short and long term change. Strong presentation skills, attention to detail, ability to work to demanding deadlines and excellent numerical skills are of course a prerequisite. Additionally you must be commercially astute and be able to collaborate, influence and persuade at all levels both internally and externally.
