An exciting opportunity has come up for a Rooms Sales Administrator based at The King James by Thistle, Edinburgh which is located just off Princes Street in the heart of the city. The hotel boasts 143 bedrooms, Craig's Restaurant, The Boston Bean Company Diner and Bar and 6 meeting and event rooms.

As a Rooms Sales Administrator you will be required to ensure you give a quality service to both customers and colleagues. Your communication skills will be complemented by your organised and efficient approach to the day-to-day tasks required in order to actively promote the hotel. You will be responsible for "up-selling" where appropriate in order to maximise sales revenue and contribute to the achievement of revenue targets along with answering calls to ensure service level standards meet operational requirements.

You will be responsible for the reservations administration of the hotel, ensuring that all reservations received are accurately entered into the system and that payment details are guaranteed. In addition to this you will be required to assist the Revenue Manager with group reservations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven service background with reservations or administrative experience preferably using the Opera PMS system but training will be provided.
