Our Client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team

JOB TITLE Production Support Engineer

ACCOUNTABLE TO Senior Engineer

PRIMARY PURPOSE
To be part of a team ensuring all production and site equipment runs at maximum efficiency. To attend breakdown promptly and ensure that all planned maintenance tasks are completed

KEY TASKS
To diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults on production lines as well as carrying out routine maintenance
To suggest improvements in the operation, seek approval and implement
To establish harmonious relations with the operational staff and to work flexibly with them
To train operational team members to perform minor maintenance tasks and to assist in major repairs
To act at all times within the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act
To maintain a records system giving details of stoppages with actions to correct
To work shifts as required to cover the needs of the factory
To support the Engineering Manager to achieve its aims and goals
Any other duties the company reasonably asks to be performed

Experience
Time served multi skilled to at least HNC. Good balance of electrical and mechanical knowledge having practical experience of PLC controlled
high speed packaging machinery.
Experience of aseptic process technology an advantage.
The role reports to the Senior Engineer and integrates with Production Shift Manager
