Contract Opportunity - VMware/Redhat Consultant - based West Yorkshire * URGENT

My client is fast paced, commercially driven E-commerce business who is seeking a strong VMware Consultantwith previous experience of migration between datahouses. You will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the importance of the network infrastructure, the extent to which it influences the success of the business and reliance on its successful operation.

Duties:

Aim of the project is to show how the systems are going to migrate between datahouses
Investigations
Configuration and upgrade of existing network equipment
Scripting
Provide expert support internal departments
Service Mapping
Through formal approval mechanisms, propose and where appropriate, action changes and improvements to the infrastructure
Take lead role in project work impacting infrastructure, including planning, managing issues and risks and implementation
Working with IS Operations and the Architecture team to assist in the design of appropriate network architectures
Virtualisation & Migration

Must haves:

VCP qualification
Sound knowledge of IT
Demonstrable investigative and analysis capability.
Anticipates problems and identifies long-term implications of decisions and actions.
Strong communication (verbal/written) and influencing skills.
Flexibility to working hours
Openness, honesty and team work
Knowledge of technical security architectural principles.
Migration experience
Strong Redhat Linux experience is a MUST
