Xilinx is looking for a talented individual to join the Wired and Wireless Communications Design Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing FPGA-based intellectual property to address the state-of-the-art communication sector. In addition, the position requires exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, that will be utilized for cross-site collaboration and customer engagements. Job Requirements
Qualifications: BEng, MEng or PhD
Experience: From new graduate to 4+ years.
Experience in VHDL or Verilog.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Theoretical and practical knowledge of general communication design would be beneficial.
Design experience with Modelsim simulation tools and Xilinx ISE tools is preferred.
Hardware knowledge of standards such as JESD204, CPRI, Ethernet, or other communications standards would be beneficial.
Experience with System Verilog or embedded processors would be beneficial.
Understanding or participating in emerging standards would also be beneficial.
Be able to create support documentation for the core products.
Be able to assist engineering management and marketing to specify future core products and future product enhancements. Additional Details
