Apprentice Electrician
Apprenticeship – 4 years in total
Salary – dependent upon entry level
The Property Services Directorate are currently in a position to offer an Electrical Apprenticeship to a hard-working and dedicated individual, who will be required to work on various programmes within property services.
The apprenticeship is open to candidates who can prove that their desire to become an Electrician is their main priority, and who can show dedication and commitment to achieving their ultimate goal.
The Apprenticeship is 4 years in total including 3 years at College (up to and including NVQ Level 3), and then a 4 th transitional year between ceasing attendance at college and gaining full work-based experience in order to be considered fully qualified and time-served.
You must have a minimum of 4 GCSE’s at Grade C or above, or equivalent. You must have the ability to pass key skills assessments in numeracy and literacy. The successful candidate will also be required to pass a medical assessment (including a test for colour blindness), and will be required to have an enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check.
