An Oracle Developer with extensive commercial exposure to: the Oracle Development Suite, Oracle SQL Plus and PL SQL is required to take responsibility for the design, production and component test of software to meet the business requirements as documented. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Oracle Developer with extensive commercial exposure to: the Oracle Development Suite, Oracle SQL Plus and PL SQL to join a leading UK brand name that offers excellent career and training opportunities.

The successful Oracle Developer's responsibilities will include but not be limited to: ensuring that your elements of the system are built to standard as well as ensuring that the quality of your own product which you test and certify is fit for purpose, assisting the team leader in the analysis of requirements, the viability of proposals and the preparation of resource estimate requirements. You will design, specify and document the required system components as proscribed within the Development Methodology as well as assisting in quality assurance to ensure that all development deliverable are of an acceptable quality to meet business requirements.

Interested applicants will need to be experienced Oracle Developers with extensive commercial exposure to: the Oracle Development Suite, Oracle SQL Plus and PL SQL. Experience of developing customer outputs using ISIS Papyrus/Oracle; you will have extensive technical experience in a system development area and some exposure to a project management methodology. Any exposure to: Thaler, Unix, ISIS Papyrus, Papyrus Objects, Staffware, VB, C or C++ would be and advantage.
