An enthusiastic and talented web developer is wanted who will manage the continued successful development of our portfolio of websites.

You should be a top class coder who has a thorough working knowledge of PHP, MySQL, CSS and Javascript and jQuery.

As lead developer you'll be working closely with the management team to ensure commercial objectives are met and experience of digital marketing (or agency environment) would therefore be an advantage.

You'll be a confident taking the initiative on development projects and will be familiar with best practice project management methods.

Your core skills should include the following:

• Advanced knowledge of PHP, both OO and functional, is essential
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript, specifically jQuery framework
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, ability to create custom queries that are optimised for both speed and performance, particularly in MySQL
• Abilities in git or other version control software
• Comfortable performing server admin via the command line

In addition a spark for design, knowledge of Mongo DB, responsive design, external APIs and Google Analytics would be an advantage.
