Airport Senior Manager - Starting salary range £50,000
Based at Stansted Airport
40 hours per week
Reports into the Head of IT.
Detailed Description
Responsible for day-to-day support for all enterprise wide IT systems and services
Design, develop and implement a broad range of operational support services covering helpdesk, application maintenance & support, desktop, technology (data centre, networks), incident & problem management, disaster recovery etc
Implement an ITIL based approach to service provision and management
Deliver against key financial targets.
Build close relationships with the key business stakeholders to build
suite of services which effectively supports the business strategies.
Openly share performance information and improvement action plans.
Publish regular performance reports which effectively measure the important elements of the services provided. Develop key metrics which will define ‘great service’
Identify and achieve improvements in service performance.
Develop a culture of customer service and continuous improvement.
Build close partnerships with our critical service partner to enhance the relationship and quality of service.
Maintain up to date knowledge on industry trends, standards and opportunities.
As a key member of the IT leadership team, help shape the IT departmental strategies and objectives to best support the business strategies.
Job Requirements
Degree qualified
Demonstrable experience of IT service delivery or systems projects delivery.
Extensive experience in managing an IT application support or service delivery team.
Expertise in a range of off-the shelf applications (eg Oracle, Maximo) and infrastructure service provision ,
Experienced in influencing across the business management team and 3

party suppliers
Experienced in outsourcing and managing external suppliers to provide quality services

Structured approach to defining and developing IT application and technology services.

Demonstrates creativity in identifying opportunities and finding solutions
Additional Details
Control operating expense budgets of up to £3million
Manage the service delivered by Stansteds single service supplier.
