- To produce excellent artworking and typesetting work on brand and to a brief and timeline specified or negotiated with the client
- To liaise with clients to discuss briefs and provide solutions whenever necessary.
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
- Liaising with clients, colleagues, lead designer or design manager to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job and interpreting these needs to develop an on-brand concept which suits their purpose
- Estimating the time required to complete the work, scheduling in appropriate time using all available resources and providing quotes and estimates for the client if necessary
- Working with a wide range of media and keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high quality
- Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, clients, photographers, other designers, art workers, web developers and marketing and business development
- To ensure that all procedures and working practices are followed.
- To be prepared to co-ordinate workflow for the department on a temporary and occasional basis
- To be flexible with regards to work location and working hours. It may sometimes be a requirement to visit the London office for special projects and meetings
- To be flexible in undertaking these duties and any other duties as required
