Key
responsibilities/accountabilities

Actively ensures that his/her own health &
safety and the health & safety of all fellow workers or other workers is
preserved at all times.

Ensures full awareness of and compliance with
the requirements of all relevant Company / Customer QHSE Handbooks, QHSE
Procedures, QHSE Legislation and emergency procedures. Ensure highest standards of safety on job
sites by implementation of effective safety programmes.

Report to immediate supervisor or company
management any hazard, near miss, incident or accident.

To manage scopes of work allocated and

associated functions as per the following:
Resource
allocation,

Mobilisation
& demobilisation,

Execution,

Reporting.

To ensure that a high state of house keeping
is maintained within the area of jurisdiction.

Ensures that all operations are completed in
accordance with clients and companies QHSE procedures.

Identifies and understands the client’s (both
external and internal) requirements and perception in order to provide a
quality service and excellent value for money.

Ensures detailed procedures, risk assessments
etc. are prepared and approved prior to project execution, in accordance with
client and companies QHSE requirements.

Ensures adequate equipment resources are
identified, allocated, procured and mobilised to complete the project
execution safely and efficiently, in accordance with client and companies
QHSE and schedule requirements.

Ensures adequate personnel resources are
identified, allocated and mobilised to complete the project execution safely
and efficiently, in accordance with client and companies QHSE and schedule
requirements.

Ensures all plant and equipment is operated
safely and in accordance with the standard operating procedures, and/or the
manufacturers guidelines, and ensures any non-compliance is reported.

Identify training requirements for personnel and
post job apparaisals

Train, motivate and develop existing and new
employees (as well as apprentices) to ensure a high standard of performance.

Encourage and promote Near Miss, Hazard and
Accident reporting in order to facilitate facility & / or process /
management system improvement.

Act in the Companies best interest at all
times.

Essential
qualifications/requirements
