CAD TECHNICIANBACKGROUNDOur Client, a leading Engineering company, are now looking for an experienced CAD Technician to join their design team. You will be required to both support the design team and design and manage a range of Client led products through design and manufacturing. Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the head of design you will be required to:Support the design team in the preparation of Client specified new products and product changes.Creation of BOMs, archiving and registering design changes.Support the design team in Client meetings.Operate the computerised database and supporting materials.Interface with the manufacturing team on design changes. Qualifications and ExperienceA minimum of HNC/ HND qualification in Engineering.A minimum of 2 years design experience using a CAD product such as Solidworks, ProE, Unigraphics, Catia or similar.Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Design within Engineering and/or a manufacturing environment.

Must be an excellent communicator both verbally and written.
