Edinburgh University Students' Association is looking for a Catering Stock Controller to work across all EUSA outlets as part of our dedicated Business Support team.

You will be responsible for:
Ordering and maintaining stock across all EUSA Catering outlets and Kitchens, ensuring that accurate records are kept of all incoming and outgoing stock.
Ensuring the security of all Catering stock, upholding strict stock control procedures, and being responsible for cleanliness/hygiene and safety of all store areas/equipment in line with health and safety regulations.
Entering all stock deliveries and transfers into the EPOS systems and producing reports to form the basis of monthly stock audits.
Undertaking stock rotation and quality checks to ensure the highest quality products reach the customers.

You must have:
At least 2 years experience of stock control, ideally in a catering environment
Experience of ordering and receiving stock from external suppliers, and managing a large volume of delivery notes and invoices
Experience of establishing new, accessible and effective systems of ordering and purchasing stock, and keeping detailed records within that system
Good knowledge of products used in Catering, and how to store/deliver them at the highest quality standard
An understanding of how to set and reach G.P. targets
A physical ability to move stock into and around a storage area, and an understanding of how to do this safely
£16k - £17k per annum based on experience.
