Our organisation was born of a merger between two mental health Trusts which came together on 1st January 2012. The merger has brought together the best aspects of services in Norfolk, Suffolk, Great Yarmouth & Waveney. Although the Trust has merged we are waiting for the IT to merge. We are seeking to recruit a keen & enthusiastic clinical psychologist* to join our early intervention in psychosis team in Central Norfolk. The service provides innovative multidisciplinary support to young people aged between 14 and 35 with first episode of psychosis.

The post holder will be working within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues and offering a number of interventions including CBT, 1:1, family & group interventions. Experience of supervising assistants and trainees would also be an asset.

The service has an active research arm, with several externally funded research projects. There will be an expectation that the post holder takes a keen interest in research and helps to support the development of these activities within the service.
