The Travail Employment Group has been asked to source an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for their client based in Fife.

Reporting to the senior engineer , your main responsibilities will be to provide engineering support to the production and manufacturing departments , helping them to achieve sales and profit targets by optimising machine up time and efficiencies.

Applicants should come from a traditional mechanical engineering background and have experience of CNC programming and machining. Additional exposure to Lean methodologies would be an advantage.

You should be able to review design drawings and prepare CNC programs for new components , monitoring them throught proofing.

An ability to build effective relationships with internal colleagues and external suppliers is also required.
