Role: A new position exists for a Dutch speaking Accounts receivable team leader to join our clients Dutch finance team in Dublin. As an accounts receivable team leader theyre responsible for managing the payments for the Dutch companies. Their tasks include:
- Managing Dutch clients/customers in the AR process, inputting them in SAP etc
- Maintaining a good team spirit through positive communication, training and counseling in order with policies and procedures of the company
- Ensuring the team understand the processes being used and if needed organize training for them
- Making sure members of the team are managing their customers effectively and efficiently
- Following up, collecting and allocating of payments and accruals
- Carrying out billing, collecting and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
- Reconciling of accounts
- Monitoring customer account details for non payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
- Maintaining accounts receivable customer files
- Following established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc
- Preparing bank deposits
- Investigating and resolving customer queries
- Processing adjustments
- Organizing a recovery system and initiating collection efforts
- Communicating with customers via phone, email or mail
Skills: The ideal candidate must speak native Dutch and have a good level of English also finance, business or economics qualification is essential. The chosen candidate should possess a collections role experience (3-5 years) in a multinational organisation. Candidates with previous experience in working to deadlines, acting as team leader, servicing customers and managing change are preferred as there will be a number of transactions and processes to understand. The candidate must be flexible, organised, decisive, and creative, have excellent communication skills, business knowledge and have good problem solving skills. Basic IT skills such as MS Word, Windows, Outlook and Excel knowledge are required, along with experience using accounting systems.
