Junior Java developer required for a fantastic opportunity with a market leading company in Swindon.
You will ideally be from a software engineering background, have prior development experience and a relevant degree.
Technical experience required:
Honours degree in Computer Science or similar or equivalent combination of education and experience
2 or more years of commercial development experience would be beneficial
Technical experience in Java and OOAD
Experience of the following would be beneficial :
HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, XML, Junit
Working with large databases, particularly Oracle.
Tools: CVS/SVN, Tomcat, Apache.
System architecture & agile methodologies.
Unix & shell scripting.
You will be well organised and a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
