Due to continued development, there is now an exciting opportunity for an Inspector to join the division, at our factory in Knutsford.
The Role:
You will be responsible for both first off and Final Inspection and your key responsibilities and duties will include, (but not be limited to):
The inspection of incoming products
Return of defective products to the supplier
The use of internal software to accept and reject components into the system.
Final inspection of products prior to dispatch to shop floor paperwork and inspection procedures.
The completion of paperwork, to ensure orders can be invoiced and shipped.
The Candidate:
You should be able to show initiative, make decisions at the appropriate level and take responsibility for your own work. At the same time, you should be competent in understanding the impacts of solving a problem in a particular way, and be aware of the positive and negative impact of your actions.
To be successful, you should:
Have Machine shop/ automotive environment experience.
Have hands-on practical inspection ability.
Have the ability to demonstrate mechanical inspection and measurement skills.
Have working knowledge of basic quality requirements to conduct piece-part inspection and final inspection.
Have the Ability to read and intrepet CAD produced technical drawings.
Be used to working to ISO9008:2008 Quality Management System.
Have the ability to take corrective action processes with our supply chain.
