What will you be doing?
You will start your career as a researcher. This will entail you working alongside senior consultant to resource ideal candidates to present to clients for specifically requested positions. This initial period will last between 3-6 months and will teach you everything about headhunting candidates so once you are promoted to a junior consultant position and start to work with clients you will have excellent experience working in your niche market. Headhunting involves extensive market research and mapping, networking, interviewing and persuading. So being a tenacious hardworking individual is an absolute prerequisite. You will be working on mid to senior level hires of £50,000 to £150,000+.
What is expected from you?
You must have an excellent academic track record with a 2:
1 or higher degree from a top tier university and be looking for a challenging and fast paced working environment that rewards the hard work you put in. A strong sporting background is an advantage and evidence of previous success vital. Due to the nature of the role being self motivated and competitive with strong examples to back that up are crucial. Sales or commercial experience would be beneficial as my client is ideally looking for candidates with 6-12 months B2B sales.
