This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of UK's largest Insurers in their Counter Fraud Team as a Specialist Handler to their growing Team in Glasgow (OTHER LOCATIONS AVAILABLE).

As a Counter Fraud Claims Specialist Handler you will be responsible for ensuring delivery of the key objectives of preventing and detecting claims fraud in a way that complies with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. You will do this through a small portfolio of your own and by coaching less experienced team members so they handle their claims efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Filter new referrals and allocate to your team based on complexity/experience so that the value of prevented fraud is improved and maximised.

Coach your fellow team members so that they benefit from your experience so that we maximise the value of Prevent Fraud.

Understand and follow agreed processes and prevent as much fraud as possible from the available caseload.

Improve the time it takes to complete all stages of the Counter Fraud claims handling process. Be proactive and focused in your handling to achieve this.

Provide constructive feedback to enable to Counter Fraud to prevent more fraud more efficiently.

Ensure any learning from complaints you receive is provided to your Team Leader with suggestions as to how we can modify our processes to avoid further problems and share your learning across all teams.

You MUST have at least 4 years experience in investigating Motor or Household Insurance Claims (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS CRITERIAL).
