Our client is, growing and successful distribution based in county Antrim has an excellent opportunity for a Company Accountant. Reporting into the Board of Directors the Company Accountant will be responsible for the running of the finance department. Duties will include: Preparation of monthly accounts Preparation of P & L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow Preparation of VAT returns and submission to HMRC Production of year end accounts file for statutory audit purposes Preparation of financial forecasts Presentations to the bank Liaising with the external accountants Calculation of the payroll and all wage and salary processing Maintenance of the sales ledger and purchase ledger Responsible for undertaking all credit control duties Maintenance of rolling annual forecast cash flow The preparation, monitoring and communication of financial budgets Development and monitoring of internal accounting controls All stock control and stocktaking duties Production of monthly accounts pack and financial information and presentation to Board of Directors Day to day supervision and training of departmental staff Essential Candidate Requirements: Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) High level knowledge of Computerised Accounting Capable of building good cross functional interdepartmental relationships Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to offer strategic input to the business For further information on this excellent opportunity please contact Helen Sheppard at Bond on 02890 339968 or apply online.
