IT Business Analyst : Application Migration : Contract : Edinburgh : £360 a day

Abrecco are recruiting a Business Analyst on behalf of our Edinburgh based client. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of Business Analysis. You will have experience across the full project lifecycle from initial concept through to final implementation. Gathering and documenting high level requirements, drilling down to detailed functional requirements and supporting the design, build and test stages. You will be a self starter with excellent communication skills and be able to work under own initiative. To be considered for this role you should possess the following:

Essential:
Proven experience in Business and Systems Analysis gained from within a professional services environment (Consultancy, Utilities, Financial Services)
Requirements gathering and producing detailed specifications and documentation
Demonstrable understanding of the software development lifecycle
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Strong experience in workshop facilitation and presenting requirements to a business audience
Second to none communication skills, both verbal and written

Desirable:
Understanding of Prince2, Agile, ISEB or similar
Team management experience
