Our client, a large public sector organisation based in Preston
has an immediate requirement for a part time ER Manager to join
their team on a 6 week contract to provide outstanding Employee
Relations service to the organisation through the current
restructure.

Reporting to the Head of HR, the interim ER Manager will
primarily be managing the administration side of the restructure
and will be responsible for coaching and leading the admin team
through the process efficiently.

The ER Manager will provide accurate and timely support to the
HR team throughout the organisation whilst contributing and
supporting the organisations specific initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of the ER Manager:
To assist in managing specific stages of the restructuring
process in conjunction with the HR Admin team eg letters to all
staff confirming if they are in a selection pool for
assignment;

Notification of assimilation or referral for redeployment;

Overview the letters to all relevant staff confirming the
arrangements for assignment;

Collation of returned completed employee submissions;

Logistical arrangements for assignment panels and
interviews;

Letters to all staff informing them of the outcome of the
assignment process;

Assist in managing the redeployment pool to final
conclusion;

The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified, have excellent
employment law knowledge in relation to re-structures/redundancies
and will have demonstrable experience managing in this capacity
before.
