Iron Mountain, a global leader in information management is seeking to recruit a Risk Management Assistant. The role has day to day responsibility for managing risk and insurance processes for IME and liaising with the field based stakeholders and senior management dealing with questions, resolving issues that may arise, assisting with the collation and management of vehicle, property and liability claims, renewal data collation and implementation, and improving risk management services. Please note, this is a 9 month maternity cover position.
Key Accountabilities:
- Dealing with notification and collation of claims information to/for insurers in a timely manner ensuring claims are managed effectively, minimising cost and maximising cost recovery.
- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of risk and insurance information to all levels and functions of the business, on claims cost, causes of accidents and total cost of risk.
- Development and management of effective and accurate claims databases.
- Working with key supplier of Statutory Inspections and field based stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of contract and 100% of on-time inspections.
- Regular ongoing reviews and management of risk management processes and supplier contracts.
- Administration and management of the driver training programme.
- Be involved in risk management projects as the function develops throughout IME.
- Management and administration of the UK Vehicle Accident Management Contract ensuring costs are controlled and KPIs are met.
- To collate all information/figures for insurance renewal of motor, property, airside & liability. To ensure all insurance costs are allocated correctly.
- Dealing with insurance and risk management related queries and issues throughout IME.
- Management of IME Incident Recording Centre (IRC) system, liaising with security managers and senior managers on investigations, root cause and remedial action following incidents. Create, design and implement IME IRC training collaborating with NA team.
Qualifications:
Insurance or Risk Management HNC or above (desirable)
Skills:
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Eye for detail
Ability to use IT related products including Advanced Excel, Word and Powerpoint, Visio and Project
Ability to analyse data and create meaningful performance reports
Experience:
Previous experience in a risk or insurance related role
Previous experience in administration and working with databases
Motor, property or liability claims handling (desirable)
