Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

08:30-16:30 (Mon-Fri)

Core Duties:
Primary focus to deliver L2 Door Supervisor Qualification (including Physical Intervention) Ensure all learners are supported through each stage of their learning journey. To plan the delivery of all courses in line with the curriculum standards Development of SOW and lesson plans To develop resources in line with teaching practices To be responsible for all activity within their specialist area (Vocational, PSD) To provide help guidance and support to all learners while on programme Arrive on time to enable preparation of lesson including material and handouts To carry out learner inductions Liaise with admin in regard to all relevant paperwork requirements, also attendance of learners To ensure all required resources are available Ensure daily registers are signed by each learner and arrival/departure times are entered. All classrooms are to be left clean and tidy. Any resources used returned to the admin office. To complete all relevant paperwork fully to Contractors standards To ensure that all reviews are carried out on time Ensure that all learners complete all activities set out in the Scheme of Work and on time To follow company disciplinary procedures in regard to disruptive learners This includes the intervention procedure Update learner information on a regular basis through the ILP and CRM following Contractors requirements Ensure regular feedback is given to the learner of progression while on programme Provide learners with an ongoing assessment of needs and provide appropriate support with any issues that may arise To help and support learners in gaining progression Ensure daily evaluation of lesson is completed To attend contract meetings when arranged Ensure your own professional development is maintained Ensure health, safety and the welfare of all centre users are provided for Cover for absent staff as appropriate and reasonable To undertake any reasonable duties that is to the benefit of the company Qualifications and Experience
Essential

Teaching Qualification- minimum of PTLLS L3 Conflict Management Attended and passed Physical Intervention Instructors Course L2 Door Supervisor Experience of delivering L2 Door Supervisor (all components) and Physical Intervention Desirable

Experience of working with HABC (Highfield) Ability to deliver Emergency First Aid at Work Ability to deliver Health and Safety in the Workplace Vocational experience of another sector apart from security Experience of working in the Welfare to Work sector IAG L3/4 Ideal start date 30/07/12
