The Background
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Decommissioning Operations Engineer to provide operations support to decommissioning projects and to act as the focal point throughout the project phases for a leading Oil and Gas company in Aberdeen.
The Role
As the Decommissioning Operations Engineer, you'll work closely with other departments such as Maintenance, Integrity, Production, Drilling and Modifications to ensure that all interfaces are appropriately managed. You'll represent the decommissioning group in technical and safety related studies and you'll develop maintenance programs for new equipment required to facilitate the decommissioning project. Additionally, you'll update the Maximo maintenance planning tool and will play a key role in the planning and execution of the operations and maintenance elements of the decommissioning project.
You
Ideally you'll be educated to a degree level within a relevant discipline or you'll have the equivalent experience within a decommissioning field. You'll have previous experience of Maximo and will have had experience of offshore oil and gas operations or maintenance experience.
