POST: Carers Development Manager
GRADE: £30,000.00 (pro rata)
2 years contract with possibility of 1 years extension subject to funding
HOURS: 35 hrs per week

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential –
Third Level qualification in relevant health and social care or community development background
Project management qualification e.g. PRINCE or ILM Project Management
2+ years in managing a not for profit organisation
Proven ability to build and maintain effective professional working relationships with key stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
Demonstrated ability to organise workload to achieve agreed targets and objectives
High level of organisational skills attention to detail
Computer literate to include the use of Microsoft Office suite internet and email facilities
Ability to work flexible hours and to travel throughout Northern Ireland as demanded by the job
Ability to work to an agreed budget and maintain accurate and timely financial monitoring returns
Managing supervising staff
Fundraising experience
Desirable -
Previous experience of managing change
Knowledge of the Health/Social care services (Statutory and Voluntary) which contributes to carers support
Full driving licence with access to a car OR* have access to a form of transport which will permit the applicant to meet the post requirements in full.
