There is an immediate requirement for a Project Manager to join the Programme and Project Management team in the West Region (Cardiff & Bristol). Immediate responsibilities will include working with public bodies in the South Wales and the West including local authorities and government agencies, and assisting with the commercial management of significant Arup design commissions.
Role
Prospective candidates will be expected to undertake all aspects of project management using their acquired skills and experience, and will be supported with their professional development needs. Duties will include commercial management and control, client interface management, contract administration, scheduling/planning and other tasks as necessary to promote the successful delivery of our projects.
Requirements
Applicants should be self motivated with excellent communication skills, have a good grounding in project management tools and techniques, a good understanding of the commercial management of projects, and be progressing toward professional recognition. It is anticipated that time will be spent in both locations with Cardiff initially being the base location.
