My client are a luxury retail fashion brand and they are seeking a Contract Cisco Network Engineer. My client are a very well known and sophisticated name so would look extremely good on any CV.
The Network team of this particular brand are located within the service delivery area of the business covering Voice, Video and Data Communications. One of the group's responsibilities is to support the global client's Events calendar in terms of its Telecommunications requirements. Our client are very interested in digital technology within our global Events. These Events range in size and complexity from Global Quarterly Updates, to store opening Events, to our client's menswear and Womenswear shows. All such Events have a key network dependency and as such, it is a requirement that our client is adequately resourced to support this. The role of Cisco Network Engineer - Events is a new role and will form part of a larger Events team comprising IT, Marketing, VM and PR. Nevertheless this is one of the specifics of the role however, generally speaking the role will be a fairly BAU general support role surrounding 3rd line Cisco networking issues. The main objectives include the analysis of technical requirements, the development of solutions appropriate to the requirements, and the provision of the Data, Voice and Wi-FI infrastructure to support our client's networking infrastructure.
