My client, based in the heart of Yorkshire within commutable distance to some of the most beautiful rural areas of the country, are a multinational and recognised leader in the design and manufacture of advanced automotive systems and components for the major Automotive car manufacturers throughout the UK, Europe, North America and the Far East.
As the worlds leading designer and manufacturer of these products this well established company now have a requirement for a Manufacturing Engineer/Production Engineer to join their production engineering team
The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out manufacturing engineering activities to support new and existing business in particular New Product Introduction (NPI). This will involve managing projects including capital investment projects with scheduled target dates from concept through to completion, also continuous improvement activity the application of lean manufacturing techniques plus leading and participating in multi-functional teams to achieve set goals
