Yard Operative/Forklift Driver
Aberdeen

Our client has a strong focus on the growing deepwater subsea umbilical, riser and flowline markets in Africa, Asia Pacific, Brazil and the Gulf of Mexico as well as a leading role in the North Sea. Employing over 5,000 personnel onshore and offshore they are one of the world's leading subsea engineering and construction companies servicing the Oil & Gas industry

As Yard Operative/Forklift Driver your main responsibilities will include

Working under limited supervision, perform support and maintenance duties in a workshop and yard environment.

Certified and approved operatives may operate fork lifts when required.

Certified and approved operatives may be involved in lifting operations when required.

Certified and approved operatives may be expected to erect and maintain onsite scaffolding.

Support to worksites, onshore and offshore.

Participate in the rapid response team to deal with accidental spills and emissions in the yard and workshop

Qualifications and Education

Essential

General education

Forklift Certificate - essential, at least 16 tonne would be desirable

Banksman Certificate

Skills

Basic understanding of computer packages

Experience:
Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level as a Yard Operative/Forklift Driver
