Our client is a well respected TFM Total Facilities Management company with prestigious clients in both the Public and Private sector. Due to further success they are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to sell their services in the Midlands area.
The purpose and remit of the Business Development Manager role:-
Development of new business selling service, maintenance and refurbishment to small and large organisations
Generate single and multi-year high value contracts for Total FM. M&E- Cleaning - Security - HVAC
Identifying opportunities, taking the opportunity from initial contact to negotiating and closing the sale
Ensure contact is made at senior level with key decision makers and that our client is added to the tender list
Building a sales pipeline of new business opportunities to ensure the sales target will be met for the year
The Business Development Manager experience and qualifications:-
Must have sales experience and a proven track record in FM services sales
Multi skilled knowledge of M&E, Security, Cleaning, Washrooms, HVAC, Maintenance an advantage
Have a good list of contacts
Commercially astute and preferably have experience bidding and winning multi-year contracts
Personal charisma, ability to identify potential business opportunities
Able to set up appointments at a senior level with potential clients
Able to develop opportunities and ensure our client is added to the tender list
Capable Business Development Manager with the will to win, who is tenacious
Team player and able to work autonomously and have real drive and ambition
Confident and able to communicate and present solutions at director level
Computer literate, organised, able to prioritise and deliver results
In return, the Business Development Manager will receive an excellent remuneration package including a 30k basic with a possible 80k commission plan, quality company car Mercedes or BMW etc or car allowance, pension, benefits and genuine excellent career prospects.
