Qualified Health and Safety Officer required for our client, a large manufacturing organisations based within the outskirts of Derby.

Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager and working within a team of 2 further officers and administratin staff day to day duties will include:

Carrying out risk assessments
Managing Non conformances and implementing corrective procedures
Liasing with HSE and other external organisations
Ensuring all Health and Safety documentation remains, current, correct and organised
Liasing with departent managers to ensure best Health and Safety Practice
Other related duties to ensure Health and Safety compliance of the site at all times

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and possess a relevant Health and Safety qualification (ie NEBOSH, IOSH)

Hours of work are Monday to Thurs 0800-1700 and Friday 0800 - 1200
