Our client based in the City Centre is looking for a permanent Technical Support Analyst to start ASAP.
Duties;
As a member of the IT and Deployment Department you will be involved in many aspects of deployment including the quality assurance and testing of software development and media products. This role will ensure that a high level of quality is set and maintained.
- First line support for internal and client based users
- Log all helpdesk calls on call logging system
- Manage calls on logging system until they are resolved
- Escalate problems to second line support and if appropriate your line manager
- Amend users accounts on various different systems
- Upload e-learning courseware to the Training Management System
- Upload files and folders to the associated ftp locations
- Create ftp accounts
- QA E-Learning packages
- Create software fault reporting tickets relating to E-Learning packages and verification of ticket resolution
- Create and update user documentation
- Create and update Process documentation
- Produce Work Instructions for more complex tasks
- Responsible for technical support for all online training courses
- Assist as required with the deployment of all software products
Skills;
- Must hold a degree in an IT related discipline
- Experience of database and server side support
- Familiar with database and SQL Server 2005
Please note that our client will be moving offices to Westhill therefore you must be willing to commute to their new location.
