JOB PURPOSE
To maximise the Service Quality provided by Weatherford by various means. To deliver effective and specified systems training through blended methods. Lead the design, development and implementation of appropriate materials and tools which are aligned to the Weatherford Competency System, OPMS & WPTS and enhance/develop the workforce skill base, also assist to install regular monitoring and feedback mechanisms to support the desired deliverables. Act as a verifier to ensure all group employees are achieving required training and competency standards. Carry out both internal and external QMS audits
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, Develop and Implement the regional training & development plans for all regional & country personnel working under the completion and production business units

Plan & coordinate the student training and instruction on practical applications during designated class room, workshop training courses and other practical aspects of any specified training courses using internal/external trainers and the Employee Connect tools

Assists/guides the development of new training courses and the upgrade of existing material, including training manual content, presentation content, practical demonstrations including adherence and compliance to the Weatherford Competency System.

Training, Competency & Quality Coordinator is ultimately responsible for course design, quality and effectiveness

Maintain up to date records on training delivery and delegates to ensure the Weatherford training module and Employee connect is updated, where applicable.

Research, evaluate, and prepare recommendations on curricula, instructional methods, and materials to be used in training classes as well as make recommendations as to the procurement of required instructional materials, supplies, equipment, and visual aids designed to meet participants’ educational needs.

Assist the Regional and Country teams to develop training plans which will provide transparent opportunities for all employees development, supported by technical competencies and career builder.

Assist and deliver Competency Training workshops as required by the regional training focal point.

Support employees undertaking assessor and verifier qualifications.

Gain Weatherford Assessor (OPITO Approved) status as well as Verifier.

Assist in the design and development of reports, surveys that identify training needs across the region. Analyse data and make recommendations for cost effective activities – methods to ensure the delivery of required development.

Responsibility for the training schedule and its communication – upload on to Employee connect.

Make proposals of potential avenues of development/training that may have a positive impact on the business re moral, motivation, increased performance etc reducing LTO and provides a positive message of Weatherford as an employer of choice.

Work with and support the region team to encourage the delivery of One Weatherford behaviours through implementation of agreed management competencies framework, training material and communications.

Ensure training adheres to Product Realization and Service Proceedures

Carry out Audits on Internal and External suppliers as well as operations facilities to ensure our support network is fit for purpose and supports our operations

The Training, Competency & Development Coordinator is responsible for setting up and controlling specific training plans for all product line personnel, ensuring training is set up and provided in agreement with all parties involved.

Setting up support for overseas training – Arranging visas, accommodation, communicating expectations to area manager in training location. Arranging feed back and ensuring training was effective.

Report to RPLD on a monthly basis ensuring training competency and quality records are up dated and reported fully to ensure constant progress can be seen.

Supply standard formats for training & competency folders for all PL employees.

Help guide Econnect Superusers/Global Training Manager on what courses are required for each band of personnel.

Review draft documents for the Global Quality System before implementation.

Responsible for the role out of all Completion & Prodcution Service Quality initialtives within the region to make sure all employees understand and fulfil their obligations to the initiatives.

Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:
Minimum Higher Educational background

Preferred:
EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE

Essential:
Specific Weatherford Product line experience and expertise

Experience in Oilfield Operations

General computer knowledge and various software packages.

Preferred:
Supervisory experience

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

Essential:
Excellent Communication & listening skills

Effective organisation

Excellent written, oral and visual media communication skills

Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.

Should demonstrate the ability to work and interact with all levels of personnel

To utilize a proven personnal ability to train others in a profetional manner

Preferred:
Practical knowledge of Oil and Gas Well Drilling & Downhole Equipment installation and applications

Additional Languages i.e. Norwegian
