Department/Function Description:
CME Group is looking for a software engineer II (SEII) with 2-3+ years of extensive programming experience using Java for developing scalable, high performance web-based applications. Candidate must be independent, self-motivating, and willing to work in a fast paced environment.
As a member of the development team, this individual will work on developing web-based applications for internal and external use. This individual will be part of a cross-functional project team that follows Agile methodologies. Financial/Derivatives industry experience is a plus.
Preferred Technical Skills Experience:
Apache/Tomcat
Ant or Maven
Spring MVC
JUnit
Other Qualifications:
Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical team members.
