As a result of our growing business we are currently recruiting for an Area Manager
with previous retail management experience. This is a great opportunity for an Area
Manager who is looking for a fresh challenge and wants to be apart of a successful
company.
The purpose of the Area Manager is to deliver the Area’s required Sales & Profit
targets by leading and developing the area’s management team and identifying and
delivering all relevant/appropriate business opportunities.
Area Manager - ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- ·Develop and implement a “Retail Plan” for the area in line with Company
Strategy
- ·Use knowledge of local market and Company strategy to meet and exceed
agreed targets of Commissions, Bad Debt and Salaries
- ·Identify and take action to address underperforming stores
- ·Provide feedback, and influence change, on key issues affecting retail
performance
- ·Ensure consistent delivery and improvement of Customer Service standards
across area
- ·Ensure successful implementation and maintenance of al Company
standards across all stores
- ·Maintain high levels of in-store standards
- ·Ensure area complies fully will all relevant legislation, regulatory
requirements and procedures
- ·Effectively communicate, lead and engage area team with Company and
area targets and plans
- ·Develop management capability within the Area
- ·Develop Area Succession plans and Talent reviews
- ·Managing employee turnover to resource planning and Company standards
- ·Manage performance (through coaching and development) of management
in team
- ·Manage and improve under-performing Managers to maximise area’s
performance

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of retail Area Management
experience. They will be confident in their ability to inspire and motivate the team to
drive results. It is essential that they have excellent leadership skills and a focus on
