We have a new opportunity for a Sales Administrator based in Newcastle, on a full time permanent basis, expected to commence in September 2012. The successful candidate will be based within the Sales Department, reporting to the Customer Services Manager.
The position involves general sales administrative duties, and to support colleagues within the Sales Team. The successful candidate must be IT literate in MS Packages, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
General Administration tasks
Reception duties – answering the phone and meeting and greeting visitors
Fill printers on daily basis
Franking of post
Arranging parcels and courier services
Sales order confirmations
Preparing customer orders
Prepare customer stock information
Filing – both within the Sales Department and Production area
Progressing purchase orders
Preparing daily Sales Reports
Analysing data and compiling into graphs and reports
Daily use Micro Soft Packages including Word and Excel
Due to the working environment, it would be advantageous but not essential, to hold experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
The role has a competitive salary at £15,000 per annum, with working hours of 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
