This role is as the Team Leader within the Voice Business Networks team. The team is responsible for the smooth operation of the EMEA data network. You will be responsible for resolving g the day to day issues, incidents, problems and changes within the network estate. This will include fault diagnosis and management, repair and recovery monitoring
Essential

• Demonstrate good fault finding skills and experience within the banking/trading sector
• Solid experience of Cisco and Checkpoint, Hardware and software configuration
• Network Operations within a trading environment
• Firewall principles/Checkpoint
• Working knowledge of application delivery technologies (F5 load balancing and application acceleration)
• Networking tools (Netscout, Ciscoworks, HPOV, HP Openview)
• Configuring and supporting VPN gateways (Neoteris, Cisco ASA)
• Awareness of ITIL processes (Change control, incident management)
• Experience of working with web proxies e.g Bluecoat or Scansafe
• Wholesale financial services experience
• PIX and Netscreen desirable
