Peterson SBS currently has 2 positions available for the role of Assistant Materials Controller.

The first role is permanent
The second role is temporary - lasting between 13 & 16 months.

Function

Candidates must hold a valid reach Truck certificate (up to 2 tonne) and Counterbalance Forklift Licence (up to 12 tonne) and have at least 1 years forklift experience. A high regard for health and safety, the ability to follow safe work practices and systems at all times are essential.
Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills and an ability to work systematically to deadlines with a high focus on attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
Must be able to work unsupervised, and be flexible with regards to working hours with the ability to integrate into a project team with client representatives.

Previous warehouse / yard experience, preferably workinig in direct support of a clientis desirableas is familiarisation with oil industry materials and inventory management tasks. Candidates should possess sound working knowledge of Microsoft office and SAP experience would be advantageous.
