Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a Specialist Registrar within the Urology surgical team based at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth. This post is for a period of 01/06/12 - 06/08/12. This is a recognised post approved for training.
The post will be based in Urology supporting both out patient clinics and theatre sessions. Theatre sessions run in 2 theatres all day every week day. Areas of specialty include stones cancer work, open and lapascopic alongside general urology.
The trust are looking for a conscientious, flexible, hard working candidate to join the excellent team here at Portsmouth. In exchange we will provide an excellent opportunity for training with a wide range of expertise within our Consultant team.
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should have MRCS/FRCS qualification or equivalent. Previous experience of urology would be desirable but not essential.
