Senior Data Analyst - E&P/G&G/GIS - Perm - Edinburgh - GBP40k + Excellent Benefits

Abrecco wish to recruit, on behalf of our client, a Senior Data Analyst to join our highly successful client operating within the global oil and gas industry. This role is permanent and based in Edinburgh. To be considered for this role you will have:

Essential:

• Strong commercial data analysis and management experience within the oil & geo-scientific industry
• Experience using industry standard petrophysical / subsurface applications and databases
• Experience with ESRI applications such as ArcView, ArcGIS, ArcEditor, 3D Analyst
• Proven experience of working with a range of data types (Seismic, well and spatial)
• Excellent experience of working with GIS Standards
• Experience of working with 3rd parties in the monitoring, control and quality of geodetic work
• Good experience of working to demanding project deadlines
• Degree in Geoscience or an IT discipline

Desirable:

• UNIX/Linux/Windows
• Mentoring and Team Lead experience
