A good opportunity has come up within the SME team at a successful South Wales broker for a Commercial Account Handler. Our client has a long standing market position and has built its reputation on a continued effort towards customer focus. The successful candidate will be hard working and preferably come from a Commercial Insurance background with experience in dealing in Accounts for a broker. This individual will be dealing with a wide range of Commercial products including; Commercial Property, Shops & Offices, Motor Trade, D&O, Tradesman, Commercial Combined and some Agricultural policies.
Responsibilities
Deal with all aspects of Commercial Insurance
Handle renewals, mid term adjustments, claims and obtain new business where possible
Working individually and as part of a team to ensure success of the business
Deal with customers via phone and face to face whilst building good relationships with the account executives and underwriters
Dealing with premiums up to £5,000 maintaining a solid renewal retention rate
Skills
A sound Commercial Insurance Knowledge
Proven ability to manage commercial accounts
Strong communication and people skills at a variety of levels
