OfficeTeam are recruiting on behalf of an Insurance firm based in Edinburgh.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within an Edinburgh based Insurance firm for an Account Handler/Administrator. You will have experience within the insurance sector and ideally have knowledge and experience of underwriting and exercising your judgement when reviewing proposals. Duties will include dealing with customers via the telephone, email and postal correspondence and logging communications appropriately, entering risk data and renewals and endorsements into the system, attaching correct policy wordings to reports and schedules, and liaising with Account Executives and Claims Handlers. As well as experience in this sector you will have a thorough knowledge of FSA rules, legal principles and core policies. An interest in developing your knowledge of Underwriting is essential for successful development within this role.
